Why we made it
Every party, classroom game and online giveaway hits the same moment: someone has to pick a name, call a number or split the teams, and everyone wants it to be fair. Most tools for that are cluttered, ask you to sign up, or want access to your social accounts.
winisland is our answer. Each tool opens instantly on a phone or laptop, does one job well, and shows "Picked on winisland.in" on the result so everyone can see where it came from.
What's on the island
- Spin the Wheel: Load up names or dares, smash SPIN and let the light-up wheel decide.
- Tambola Number Caller: A talking housie machine with rooms: everyone gets a ticket and you check claims in one tap.
- Tambola Ticket Generator: Print real housie tickets, 6 or 12 to an A4 page, numbered or with names.
- Giveaway Winner Picker: Paste your entries, hit the drumroll and reveal fair winners plus backups.
- Team Divider: Split players into fair teams with captains and skill balancing, for cricket, football and quiz nights.
- Secret Santa Generator: Draw names, set a budget and send everyone a private reveal link. Nobody needs to sign up.
- Coin Toss: Flip a shiny 3D coin, call heads or tails and keep score.
- Dice Roller: Roll up to six tumbling 3D dice, or D4 to D20 for board games and RPGs.
How we keep it fair and private
- Fair picks. Wheels, draws, team splits, coins and dice use your browser's built-in cryptographic random number generator, so every name and number has an equal chance.
- Your lists stay with you. Everything runs in your browser. The names you type are saved only on your own device, and we have no database to store them in.
- No login, ever. The giveaway picker works from a pasted list, so you never hand over your Instagram or YouTube password.
- Works offline. Once you've opened the site, the tools keep working without internet, which helps at parties with patchy Wi-Fi.
Free, and kept that way by ads
All the tools are free to use. To pay for hosting and new tools, some pages may show ads beside or below the tool. Ads never cover the game area. You can read how ads use data in our Privacy Policy.
winisland is for fun and fair choices only. It is not a betting or gambling site, and our tools must not be used for real-money games.
