How to make tambola tickets
- Choose Numbered for a stack of tickets to hand out, or With names to put each player's name on their tickets.
- Pick how many tickets, and whether you want 6 large or 12 compact tickets on each A4 page.
- Add an event name if you like, then press Print tickets. Choose “Save as PDF” to share them.
- Call the numbers with the tambola number caller. Open it with this room and you can check any claim by typing the ticket number or the player's name.
Are these real tambola tickets?
Yes. Every ticket follows the standard housie layout: 3 rows and 9 columns with 15 numbers, 5 in each row. The first column holds 1 to 9, the second 10 to 19, and so on up to 80 to 90, and the numbers in each column go from smallest to largest. Tickets are made in full sheets of 6, and each sheet uses every number from 1 to 90 exactly once, so with 6 tickets in play every called number appears on exactly one ticket.
Printing tips
- Use A4 or Letter paper in portrait. The 6-per-page layout has big numbers that are easy to mark.
- Turn on “Background graphics” in the print settings to keep the shaded empty boxes.
- Print one extra copy for the host, so you can check claims on paper too.
- Themed party? Add the event name, such as “Diwali Night” or “New Year Kitty Party”, and it prints on every ticket.
Frequently asked questions
How many tickets can I make?
Up to 600 numbered tickets, or up to 100 players with up to 6 tickets each.
What is a full sheet?
A full sheet is 6 tickets that together contain every number from 1 to 90 once. Choose 6 tickets per player to give each player a full sheet, so they are sure to mark every number that is called.
Can players get their tickets on their phones instead?
Yes. Create a room on the tambola caller and share the invite link. A player who joins with the same name gets the same tickets as the printed ones with their name.
Is it free?
Yes, completely free with no sign-up. Tickets are made in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
